The 12 steps to installing artificial grass..

Synthetic Lawns of Las Vegas

st...Remove all existing sod or dirt to allow a 2-3 inch back fill of sub base.

nd...Install a boarder if needed. Bender board or concrete curbing.

rd...Spread the sub base also known as crushed granite or chat

th...Grade the base using a rake or stiff broom.

th...spray water on the sub base and use a water roller or plate compactor to tamp the base.

th...Roll out the artificial grass, making sure it all lays the same direction.

th...Use a carpet or box knife to cut the artificial grass to shape.

th...Seam the joints together using seam tape.

th... Use 5 1/2 inch nails to secure the grass down by nailing around the perimeter and along the seams.

th...Use a power broom to fluff up the artificial grass.

th..Infill the grass using a drop spreader with 2lbs per sf of coal slag and hand brush it in with a stiff broom.

th... Use the power broom to fluff up the artificial grass again and enjoy.
